This is for US citizens/residents who want to visit Nigeria as:

6. Expatriate Staff of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)/Non-Profit and their dependents

7. Expatriate Staff of International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) and their dependents

8. Government Officials (GOs) and their dependents

9. Expatriates employed by companies operating in Free Zones and their dependents

1. Requirements For The Principal Applicant

1.1. STR Visa Fee (Payable Online)

1.2. 5 Passport Photograph (35/40mm) on a white background

1.3. Int'l Passport Booklet with 6 months validity and at least 2 blank pages for Visa endorsement*

1.4 Photocopy Of Your International Passport Data Page

1.5. Print Out of your Duly Completed Application Form (Printed out, signed and dated by applicant.)

1.6. Printout of your Duly Completed Visa form, IMM22

1.7. Letter of Request from the Company Addressed to the Consulate General of Nigeria, Atlanta - Requesting the STR Visa for the applicant, this must contain the applicant’s full name. (4 Copies)

1.8. Letters of Offer of Employment by the Company - This must contain the position offered, matching that stated on the Expatriate Quota (4 Copies)

1.9 Acceptance of Offer Letter by Applicant Stating They Accepted the Position - This must contain the position offered, matching that stated on the Expatriate Quota (4 Copies)

1.10. A Full copy of the Original Contract Signed and Dated by Both Parties - This must contain the position offered, matching that stated on the Expatriate Quota (4 Copies)

1.11. The Expatriate Quota with a Minimum of 3 Months’ Validity, with the position matching that in the offer, acceptance and Contract. (4 Copies)

1.12. A Full Copy of the Applicant's Most Recent Curriculum Vitae (4 Copies)
1.13. Copies of Original Educational Qualifications, matching those mentioned on the CV

1.14. Flight Ticket (Optional)
1.15 Neighborhood Police Report. (4 copies)
1.16 Self Addressed Return Envelope with Paid Stamp from any courier of your choice.

2. Additional Documents - Requirements for Dependents

2.1. Evidence of Regularization of principal

2.2. Marriage Certificate of Spouse

2.3. Birth Certificate Of Children Confirming Nexus

3. Notes:

- All Letters must be typed and addressed to the Consulate General of Nigeria, Atlanta, signed and dated

- Documents not in English must be submitted with a certified translated copy

-Other nationals must provide green cards or residence permit stamped on their passport

4. Persons Exempted From Quota:

- Expatriates of companies operating in the Free Zones, Foreign Students, Expatriate Technical Officials of Missions, Expatriate of International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs), and Government Officials.

- Applicable to CEOs, MDs and GMs of Companies

- Important: Application for STR Visa should be made at the Country of Residence
